Tourists stuck in Yercaud traffic jam

Oct 12, 2024

Salem: Tourists who came to Yercaud hill area of ??Salem district to celebrate the holiday are stuck in traffic jam. Due to the vehicles of tourists coming to Yercaud after a three-day holiday, there is a traffic jam in the area and people have to stay inside the vehicle for about 2 hours if they want to go somewhere. Yercaud, which is known as the poor man's feeder, is visited by many tourists every year, especially on government holidays and weekends. In this case, many tourists flocked to Yercaud since yesterday as it was a government holiday for three days. This morning also there was a traffic jam due to the large number of tourists arriving in Yercaud. Vehicles lined the roads everywhere. With no parking space, tourists spend a lot of time searching for parking space. This evening there was a heavy traffic jam on Yercaud Anna Park Road and Eeri Park Road due to the large number of tourist vehicles on the Yercaud Hill Pass. Tourists have suffered a lot as vehicles have been stuck at one place for about 2 hours. It is the opinion of the tourists that if the police had changed the traffic in advance because it was a holiday, there would have been a lot of tourists. Thanks to Dinamani
